About D’Palawan Travel and Tours: Travel Agency Services in Palawan

D’Palawan Travel and Tours (DPTT) is a Palawan-based travel coordination and booking agency that assists individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations in planning and arranging tourism-related services throughout Palawan and selected destinations in the Philippines.

Our goal is to make travel planning more organized, understandable, and practical by helping clients coordinate tours, transfers, rentals, activities, and related travel arrangements while providing clear information about schedules, requirements, inclusions, limitations, and the realities of traveling in island and remote destinations.

Travel in Palawan can involve changing weather, sea conditions, road conditions, port requirements, environmental regulations, visitor limits, transportation availability, and other circumstances that may affect an itinerary. DPTT therefore emphasizes clear communication, realistic expectations, responsible coordination, and safety-conscious travel planning.

A Palawan-Based Travel Agency

D’Palawan Travel and Tours is based in San Vicente, Palawan, a coastal municipality that includes Port Barton and is strategically located between two of Palawan’s major tourism destinations: El Nido to the north and Puerto Princesa City to the south.

This location allows us to assist travelers with both single-destination trips and multi-destination itineraries involving areas such as:

San Vicente and Port Barton; El Nido; Puerto Princesa City; Coron; Balabac; Other destinations and island areas where suitable services are available.

Our familiarity with Palawan’s geography and travel routes helps us coordinate itineraries involving multiple transfers, time-sensitive connections, island destinations, and services provided by different tourism suppliers.

What We Help Clients Arrange

D’Palawan Travel and Tours assists clients in identifying available travel options, understanding general inclusions and exclusions, communicating requirements, and coordinating reservations with appropriate tourism and transportation service providers.

Services that may be coordinated through DPTT include:

Island hopping tours in destinations such as Port Barton, El Nido, Coron, Puerto Princesa, Balabac, and other available areas; Balabac tour packages and related travel arrangements; Gigantes Islands tours and selected travel arrangements outside Palawan; Puerto Princesa tours and activities, which may include the Underground River, firefly watching, city and countryside tours, and other available activities; Whale shark watching arrangements, when available and subject to seasonality, local regulations, environmental requirements, and official advisories; Airport transfers involving Puerto Princesa International Airport, El Nido Airport, San Vicente Airport, and other applicable arrival or departure points; Land transfers by available vehicle types, including cars, vans, and other locally available transport; Boat and sea transfers; Boat rental arrangements with captain or crew; Car rental arrangements, whether self-drive or with driver, subject to supplier requirements; Motorbike rental arrangements, whether self-drive or with driver, subject to availability and applicable requirements; Land tours, sightseeing, and customized itineraries; Other tourism-related services that may reasonably form part of a travel itinerary.

Availability, schedules, rates, vehicle or vessel assignments, routes, participation requirements, and inclusions may vary depending on destination, season, government requirements, operational conditions, and the particular service provider.

How Our Travel Coordination Works

D’Palawan Travel and Tours operates as a travel coordination and booking agency. Travel packages and individual bookings may include services delivered by independent third-party tourism and transportation providers, including tour operators, boat operators, transport suppliers, vehicle owners, rental suppliers, accommodation providers, guides, captains, drivers, activity providers, and other businesses or individuals involved in fulfilling the requested travel arrangement.

DPTT may assist with quotations, reservations, scheduling, client information, passenger details, payment coordination, meeting points, pickup instructions, confirmations, and communication between clients and service providers.

Operational delivery remains with the applicable service provider. Matters such as staffing, vehicle or vessel assignment, maintenance, route selection, safety procedures, operational decisions, equipment, departure timing, passenger capacity, weather assessment, and compliance with operational regulations are generally determined by the provider responsible for delivering that particular service.

This structure allows clients to coordinate multiple travel requirements through DPTT while recognizing that different portions of an itinerary may be fulfilled by different independent providers.

Independent Service Providers

We make reasonable efforts to coordinate with appropriate providers based on the information, availability, and circumstances known to us at the time of booking. However, independent providers remain responsible for their respective operations, employees, drivers, guides, captains, crew, equipment, vehicles, vessels, accommodations, and service performance.

DPTT cannot guarantee that every aspect of a third-party service will occur exactly as initially described or scheduled. Provider substitutions, vehicle or vessel changes, route adjustments, timing changes, shortened activities, alternative destinations, delays, cancellations, and other operational changes may occur because of weather, safety considerations, mechanical conditions, government directives, availability, capacity restrictions, environmental regulations, or other circumstances.

When an operational concern arises, DPTT may assist in communicating with the relevant provider and coordinating available alternatives when reasonably possible. Such assistance does not constitute a guarantee of any particular outcome, refund, replacement, reimbursement, or resolution.

Travel Conditions in Palawan

Island and remote-area travel requires flexibility. Conditions can change before departure or while an activity is already underway.

Factors that may affect a travel arrangement include:

weather and localized weather systems; sea state, waves, wind, currents, and tides; Philippine Coast Guard, port, maritime, or local authority directives; road conditions, flooding, landslides, construction, accidents, and traffic; protected-area rules and visitor capacity limits; environmental restrictions and permit requirements; airline or transportation schedule changes; equipment or mechanical issues; provider staffing or availability; emergency situations and safety decisions; other circumstances that may reasonably affect safe or lawful performance of a service.

Safety requirements and lawful directives take priority over a preferred itinerary, destination, schedule, route, or activity.

Balabac Travel Coordination

Balabac is among the destinations for which D’Palawan Travel and Tours assists travelers with tour and travel coordination.

Travel to Balabac may involve longer land and sea journeys, remote locations, limited facilities, changing sea conditions, permit or registration requirements, limited accommodation capacity, and schedules that depend heavily on weather and operational conditions.

For this reason, clients traveling to Balabac are encouraged to maintain reasonable flexibility in their schedules and carefully review all pre-travel instructions, inclusions, exclusions, and safety requirements before departure.

Registration and Compliance

D’Palawan Travel and Tours maintains business registrations and tourism-related compliance documentation applicable to its operations. Our current business information includes:

Registration with the Local Government Unit of San Vicente; Accreditation with the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA); Registration with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)..

We recognize the importance of regulatory compliance, proper documentation, responsible tourism practices, and transparent communication in conducting travel-related business.

Locally Owned and Managed

D’Palawan Travel and Tours is locally owned and managed by a Palawan native. The managing owner is a tourism graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman, combining formal tourism education with practical knowledge of Palawan destinations, travel routes, local conditions, and tourism-related logistics.

Our approach is grounded in practical travel planning rather than unrealistic promises. We aim to provide information based on available conditions while recognizing that tourism services remain subject to operational realities that may change before or during travel.

Planning Multi-Destination Palawan Trips

One of the areas where local coordination can be especially helpful is a trip involving several destinations—for example, an itinerary combining Puerto Princesa, San Vicente or Port Barton, and El Nido.

Travelers may need to consider:

arrival and departure airport; road and sea transfer schedules; hotel check-in and check-out times; tour departure cutoffs; travel time between municipalities; weather-sensitive activities; permit and manifest requirements; reasonable time allowances for delays and unexpected changes.

We can assist in coordinating these travel components so that clients can make more informed scheduling decisions.

Advance Bookings and Day-Before Confirmation

Clients with advance bookings must contact D’Palawan Travel and Tours on the day before the scheduled tour, transfer, rental, or other applicable service to reconfirm the booking.

This confirmation helps ensure that the reservation has been properly acknowledged and allows current pickup instructions, meeting points, departure information, Provider updates, weather-related notices, and other operational details to be communicated before travel.

Clients should not rely solely on an older message, quotation, preliminary itinerary, or reservation request when a service is scheduled for a future date. The latest written confirmation and operational instructions should always be reviewed before departure.

Important Cancellation and Refund Information

Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by our Booking Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy, applicable Provider rules, costs already committed, and the circumstances affecting the booking.

Bookings made within three (3) calendar days of the scheduled service date are non-refundable. Clients booking close to the travel date should therefore confirm their schedule and requirements carefully before making payment.

Once a land or sea tour has commenced, no prorated or proportional refund is due merely because a destination, stop, attraction, route, or portion of an itinerary is skipped, shortened, replaced, or made unavailable because of safety considerations, weather or sea conditions, government or authority directives, road conditions, operational requirements, or the service provider’s reasonable operational or safety discretion.

Additional cancellation, no-show, rescheduling, group booking, refund, administrative fee, and Provider-specific provisions are stated in the Refund Policy and other applicable booking terms.

Important Acceptance of Terms

Booking, reserving, paying for, participating in, receiving, using, or otherwise availing any service through D’Palawan Travel and Tours constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the Agency’s applicable terms, policies, procedures, company processes, service-specific rules, Provider requirements, safety instructions, and applicable laws and regulations.

This applies whether acceptance occurs through a website form, email, messaging application, telephone coordination followed by payment or participation, reservation confirmation, deposit, partial payment, full payment, electronic acknowledgment, physical document, or actual availment of the service.

If any provision, requirement, inclusion, exclusion, policy, payment condition, cancellation rule, or other booking matter is unclear, please contact D’Palawan Travel and Tours and obtain clarification before making payment or proceeding with the service.

If you disagree with any applicable provision, policy, process, rule, waiver, or condition, do not proceed with the reservation, payment, booking, or availment of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, D’Palawan Travel and Tours reserves the exclusive right to interpret, clarify, administer, and apply its own policies, rules, procedures, booking conditions, and terms, including determining which provisions apply to a particular booking or circumstance. Any clarification shall be read together with applicable law and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

Direct Resolution of Concerns and Disputes

The parties shall first attempt in good faith to settle the matter directly for a period of at least thirty (30) days from written notice of the dispute.
